International Drivers Association is the only official organization certified by the International Federation of Autotourism (IFA) to process and issue International Driving Permits in the MENA and Eurasian regions. Certificate No. 2012-77-001.

The International Drivers Association has representative offices in Europe, Central Asia and the Persian Gulf region.

Main missions of the organization are:

· Comprehensively support drivers and car travelers in preparing the necessary documents for smooth driving;

· Establish partnerships with global organizations in the interest of the automotive transport sector.

· Cooperate with government organizations in the motor transport industry;

· Work for the benefit of society, in order to improve the quality and safety of driving vehicles.

Due to the amendments made to the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic on March 29, 2011, which introduced new requirements for a single format for driver's licenses, it became necessary to have International Driving Permits to drive and rent a car outside of one's own country.

In this regard, in countries where government authorities do not issue IDPs to their citizens or tourists, the service of officially translating the National Driving License is provided by the International Drivers Association, which registers each IDP in the Central IDA Database.
