UAE Launches New Tourist Route Covering All Emirates
The United Arab Emirates has introduced a new tourism project called UAE Grand Tours — a 14-day journey that allows visitors to explore all seven emirates. The goal is to showcase the country's diversity and encourage tourists to stay longer.
At a recent meeting in Abu Dhabi, Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri announced that a dedicated online platform with ready-made tour packages will be launched. The project is being developed in cooperation with local tourism authorities and tour operators.
The routes will offer various types of experiences: family-friendly, cultural, eco-tourism, and adventure. Tourists will have the chance to see key attractions, discover local nature and traditions, and enjoy both modern and historical sites across the UAE.
There are also talks of introducing a single visa for Gulf countries, similar to the Schengen visa in Europe, making it easier for international tourists to travel across the region.
Additionally, the UAE plans to promote tourism year-round, especially in international markets. In 2024, the hospitality sector saw solid growth — hotel revenues rose by 3%, and average occupancy reached 78%.
