Mawaqif operator Q Mobility has introduced a technology that automatically monitors parking occupancy, manages payments, and provides real-time information to drivers.

The system launched this month in a pilot phase across selected areas. Q Mobility has confirmed plans to gradually expand it throughout the emirate.

Smart Vehicles for Parking Management

AI-equipped vehicles are now being used to monitor parking spaces, detect violations, and streamline operations, reducing the need for manual checks.

Fully Automated Payments

Smart cameras at parking entrances and exits automatically recognize license plates, record entry and exit times, calculate the parking fee, and deduct the payment through linked services such as Darb Wallet. Drivers no longer need to stop at ticket machines or pay manually, making the process entirely contactless.
