A new record has been set in Abu Dhabi with the creation of the world’s largest “human mosaic,” involving more than five thousand participants. As part of a large-scale event, the participants formed the phrase: “Abu Dhabi – the safest city in the world,” celebrating yet another recognition of the UAE capital as the safest city on the planet—for the ninth year in a row.
The event was organized by the Abu Dhabi Police as part of the “Year of Community” initiative. According to Brigadier General Dr. Hamoud Saeed Al Afari, Director of the Public Police Department, the event took place in the Al Shamkha area and was officially recorded in the Einstein World Records.
Al Afari highlighted the high level of community engagement, noting that the event became a symbol of social unity and public trust in the emirate’s security system. He added that the initiative reflects the core mission of the Abu Dhabi Police—to maintain a high level of safety and reinforce the city’s status as one of the most stable and secure places in the world.
According to the Numbeo platform, Abu Dhabi has once again ranked first among 382 cities in the global safety index—an achievement reflecting the government’s consistent efforts to enhance the quality of life and ensure the safety of all residents and visitors to the emirate.
