RTA Dubai to Provide Alternative Routes During Nad Al Sheba 2025 Race

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has announced that alternative routes will be arranged for motorists on Saturday, March 8, 2025, during the road race of the 12th Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament.

Event Details

The race will take place around Meydan Racecourse from 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Motorists are advised to plan their trips in advance to avoid delays.

Participants and Distances

More than 4,300 runners of various ages and nationalities will compete in the race. Athletes will participate in 10km, 5km, and 4km races, divided into different age categories.

Race Categories

• 10km (Open Category) – Competition for male and female UAE citizens. Participants include national teams, sports clubs, police forces, military personnel, civil defense members, fitness trainers, and professional athletes.
• 5km (Community Category) – Race for male and female UAE citizens. The Open Category also includes senior citizens and residents above 50 years old.
• 4km (Junior Category) – Race for boys and girls aged 11-12 and 13-14 years.

Officiating and Rules

All races will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the UAE Athletics Federation.
