Rolls-Royce Unveils the Phantom Dentelle: A Unique Couture-Inspired Masterpiece Created in Dubai

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Dentelle premiered in Dubai as a one-of-a-kind creation commissioned by a Middle Eastern client in honor of his father. The project was developed in collaboration with the exclusive Rolls-Royce Private Office in Dubai, where clients craft their dream vehicles in complete privacy with direct access to the brand’s designers.

The Phantom Dentelle is inspired by a rare piece of lace fabric used in the world’s finest haute couture ateliers. Crafted on a traditional Leavers loom, the lace is known for its three-dimensional floral patterns and pearl-like sheen. This intricate textile was transformed into exquisite embroidery that adorns the vehicle’s interior. Over 160,000 stitches form a floral composition within the “Gallery” — a unique, glass-enclosed panel on the Phantom’s dashboard. Embroidery in shades of Rose Gold, Sunrise, and Oatmeal creates a shimmering effect, reminiscent of light dancing on a runway gown. An additional 70,000 stitches embellish the rear seat waterfall panel. The cabin is trimmed in Sunrise and Grace White leather, with embroidered RR monograms and accents in Piano White and rose gold.

The exterior is equally refined: it features a two-tone paint scheme — Crystal over Arctic White on the lower section and Crystal over Palais Nemasker Dawn on the upper, a bespoke color developed specifically for the client. A hand-painted Sunrise coachline concludes with an elegant branch motif adorned with "pearl-like" berries. The 22-inch wheels complement the polished mirror-finish grille, while the bonnet is crowned with a rose gold Spirit of Ecstasy emblem. Matching rose gold also accents the engraved door sills, completing the car’s sophisticated design.

The Phantom Dentelle project showcases how the high art of fashion can be translated into automotive form, turning each Rolls-Royce into a true expression of personal style.
