UAE President Visits the International Defence Exhibition IDEX 2025

Today, the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited the 17th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025), held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
During his visit, he explored the exhibitions of major national and international companies showcasing the latest advancements in defence technologies. The Head of State reviewed cutting-edge military industry solutions and engaged in discussions with company representatives about modern trends and achievements in the sector.
The UAE President welcomed the participants and guests of the exhibition, highlighting that IDEX 2025 continues to strengthen its position as a key international platform for showcasing innovative technologies in the defence sector. He also emphasized the significant progress of the UAE in the development of its defence industry, which has become an integral part of the nation's strategy for building a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy.
Additionally, His Highness expressed his gratitude to the exhibition organizers for their contribution to enhancing IDEX’s global status among the leading defence industry events. During his tour, the President was accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, as well as several other officials.
