Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East (MBCME) has announced a major leadership restructuring at its Dubai headquarters, reaffirming the emirate’s role as a strategic center for managing distributor operations across the globe. The new organizational structure spans more than 100 international markets, including Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. The initiative aims to streamline operations, unify customer service standards, and accelerate innovation within a single global ecosystem.
Leading the transformation is Michael Stroband, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East and Head of the global MBGD division. Under his leadership, the company seeks to enhance market alignment and drive greater operational synergy. Among the key appointments: Karsten Klauenberg will serve as Director of Customer Services and Retail Training for MBGD; Pablo Souto will expand his role to include Marketing; and Bonnie Al-Fakhri, formerly Head of HR, will become Head of Marketing and Communications.
These leadership changes reflect Mercedes-Benz’s ambition to deepen its presence in emerging markets while ensuring consistent premium service standards worldwide. With this move, Dubai solidifies its status as a global hub for luxury mobility innovation and plays a pivotal role in the brand’s international growth strategy.
