DUBAI, March 12, 2025 (WAM) The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) с with Dubai Municipality to enhance the city's visual identity and enrich its artistic landscape in public spaces and residential areas. This initiative aligns with Dubai's Urban Development Master Plan 2040, which focuses on the city's sustainable growth while prioritizing the well-being of its residents.

Dubai Culture and Dubai Municipality have agreed to collaborate locations for art installations and artistic displays, transforming Dubai into an open-air museum accessible to everyone..
Under the terms of the agreement:
- Dubai Culture will determine the number of artistic works to be created annually within the approved timelines.
- Dubai Municipality will be responsible for selecting installation sites and coordinating with public and private entities to secure necessary approvals.
Dubai Culture’s Director-General Dubai Culture , Hala Badri, emphasized the significance of this partnership:
"We aim to turn Dubai’s streets into artistic spaces, support local artists, and foster the development of the creative economy. Through such projects, the city gains a unique artistic identity, and its cultural landscape becomes even more vibrant."
She also expressed her appreciation for Dubai Municipality's contributions to advancing the public art strategy, which enhances the city’s appeal.
