Bvlgari to Launch Grand Resort on a Private Island in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is set to welcome a new icon of luxury — an ultra-premium Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts property, scheduled for completion by 2030 on a private island. The project is already being hailed as the most ambitious in the brand’s history.
Shaped like a horseshoe, the resort’s architectural concept is designed by the renowned Milan-based firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Development is led by real estate company Eagle Hills.
The complex will feature 60 elegant hotel rooms, 30 beachfront villas, and 90 private mansions offering views of the open sea and the Qasr Al Watan palace. The design will blend Italian sophistication with Middle Eastern aesthetics. Some residences will exceed 2,500 square meters, with exteriors inspired by the grandeur of Roman temples.
Resort highlights include a five-bedroom flagship villa spanning 1,200 square meters, a private marina, a 40-berth yacht club, and a selection of fine dining options: Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, Japanese concept Hōseki, a Turkish restaurant, and the lively Bvlgari Bar. A large spa, a 25-meter pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center are also planned.
The resort is envisioned as a serene oasis in the heart of the city — a harmonious blend of seclusion, design, and world-class service.
