106 vehicles seized for loud tuning – UAE police tighten measures
The UAE authorities continue to crack down on noise violators on the roads. This week, 106 vehicles were confiscated in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, as their owners had illegally modified them to increase noise levels.
According to the police, most of the seized cars had altered exhaust systems and other technical modifications that caused discomfort to residents. Such violations in the UAE carry severe penalties, including a fine of 2,000 dirhams, 12 black points, and vehicle impoundment for 30 days.
Law enforcement officials remind that these modifications not only disrupt public order but also pose a potential threat to road safety. Authorities urge drivers to respect the law and avoid illegal tuning, which can lead to serious consequences.
