A route for nature lovers with scenic stops in the Hajar Mountains and on the seashore in Fujairah.

From Dubai to Fujairah: A Scenic Journey Through Mountains and Coastline

Driving from Dubai to Fujairah by car is an exciting adventure that allows you to see a variety of landscapes, from mountain ranges to the coast of the Gulf of Oman. This route is especially suitable for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, as it includes scenic roads, historical sites and adventure opportunities.

The journey starts from Dubai, where you can choose one of the main highways – Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) or Emirates Road (E611). The road passes through the Hajar Mountains, where magnificent views of rocky gorges and mountain passes open up. Along the way, it is worth stopping at the Wadi Shawka Nature Reserve, which offers hiking routes and the opportunity to admire natural water bodies.

After crossing the mountain range, the road leads to the coast of the Gulf of Oman. Here, travelers are greeted by the towns of Khorfakkan and Dibba, known for their beautiful beaches and excellent places for diving and snorkeling. Fans of active recreation can rent a boat or go on a sea trip to enjoy the views of the coast and perhaps see dolphins.

The final point of the route is Fujairah, one of the most interesting emirates of the UAE. The city is famous for its ancient fortress, the oldest mosque Al-Bidiya and beautiful beaches that are ideal for relaxation. Here you can stay in one of the resort hotels, try fresh seafood and explore local museums.

For a comfortable trip, it is recommended to set off early in the morning to avoid the heat, and to take water and snacks with you. There are not many gas stations on the mountainous sections of the road, so it is worth checking the fuel supply in advance. It is also important to be careful on serpentine sections of the road.

This route allows you to see a different side of the UAE, combining beautiful natural landscapes, cultural attractions and leisure opportunities. The trip is suitable for both family travel and independent adventurers.
