Issuance an IDP for tourists in the UAE

Issuance of International Driving Permit (IDP) for driving and car rental by tourists in the UAE. PDF version is sent within 10 minutes, while the physical original is delivered to Dubai from the nearest international offices within 1–3 hours.

DEFINITIONS:
National Driver License, in accordance with the relevant International Conventions, is a plastic card with a pinkish background, the size of a standard business card (86 x 54 mm). Obtaining it requires passing exams with the traffic police authorities and it is issued for a period of 10 years. The National Driver's License is made according to international standards but does NOT have the status of an International Driving Permit.
Identification Card for Autotourists from the International Drivers Association confirms the possession of an International Driving Permit and registration in the IDA Central Database. The card is intended for presentation within the Association’s partner network as well as to non-governmental authorities when necessary.
IDP from the International Drivers Association is an internationally recognized document, serving as the official translation of a National Driver's License for driving and car rental abroad. The IDP is an A6-sized booklet that complies with the standards of the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic and includes translations in 11 international languages.

Attention! This International Driving Permit is not issued to citizens and residents of the UAE.
